The purpose of this tool is to assist webmasters and SEO consultants in performing keyword analysis. This activity, also known as keyword research, is an important step in the search engine optimization process. Specifically, this tool will, when given a URL, display the most frequently used keywords and keyphrases present in the document in question.

This tool can help you improve search engine placement by identifying niche keywords and keyphrases that apply to your content. To use this tool, simply type in the URL to analyze, and press the Analyze Page button. Optionally, you can filter your analysis by entering specific keywords, or add or delete words from the provided Stop Word list.

The default stop word list used by this tool is the list of most commonly used English language stop words. Once keywords and keyphrases are displayed, you can click on a keyword/phrase to display text passages in the document containing the keyword(s) in question. This is helpful in showing the context in which the word or phrase is used.

You can also generate a custom research report on the term to see how it is used elsewhere on the Internet.

This tool can also be used by researchers to assist in automating the content analysis of large online texts. It performs this function by breaking down the text into content categories (keyphrases), organized by frequency of occurrence. Clicking on the concept (keyphrase) will show a list of text passages from the document that show the keyphrase in context. It will also display a list of related Keywords and keyphrases.
